Movement Foundations: Build Speed, Power, and Confidence From the Ground Up


A FREE 4-week training series for TDC athletes to master the fundamentals of movement, change of direction, sprinting, jumping, and more.

The best athletes aren’t just strong; they know how to move. That’s why we’re offering a Movement Foundations series designed specifically for TDC athletes. Over 4 weeks, we’ll teach the essential movement patterns that give young athletes an edge:

  • Session 1: Change of Direction Mechanics – how to cut, plant, and re-accelerate safely and explosively.

  • Session 2: Sprint Technique – learn the form and rhythm that builds real speed.

  • Session 3: Jumping & Landing Skills – explosive takeoffs and controlled landings to maximize performance and reduce injury risk.

  • Session 4: Athletic Fundamentals – coordination, body control, and movement efficiency every athlete needs.

Program Details:

  • Cost: FREE

  • Who: Youth athletes (ages 6+) in the TDC program

  • Dates: Oct. 28th / Nov. 4th / Nov. 11th / Nov. 18th

  • When: Tuesdays at 6:30–7:00 pm, right after TDC

  • Duration: once a week for 4 weeks

  • Where: Carolina Futsal Development Center Turf Field (2822 Commerce Dr, Rock Hill, SC 29730)

  • Commitment: Just 30 minutes per session
